Lama Ole Nidal, a teacher of Tibetan Buddhism is visiting Lviv 26 June. Lviv has been on the list of the Lama's world-wide missionary routes, as he vis-its a new town across the globe each day. Lama Ole Nidal an important figure in Buddhism, together with his wife Hanna were the first Western disciples of the Main Lama of the Karma Kagyu School of Tibet Buddhism. After a three-year course of stud-ies in the Himalayas, 70-year-old Ole Nidal obtained the full qualification of Lama and Meditation Teacher. Since then, he's been teaching The Diamond Route Buddhist school across the globe. Lama Ole Nidal has launched over 400 Buddhist centers all over the globe, mainly in Europe. Ukraine boasts 13 centers and 5 meditation groups founded by the Lama. It's his fourth visit to Lviv where his 'The Diamond Route' center remains the only officially reg-istered Buddhist school. According to the president of Lviv 'The Diamond Route' center Serhiy Dudakevych Lama Ole Nidat will hold a lecture called 'Fearlessness and Joy' in the local Palace of Culture.
